Paragon Holdings is a private investment firm focused on real estate, oil and gas, private equity, and healthcare investments. Paragon currently provides equity and other advisory services to real estate developers in connection with the acquisition and development of multifamily projects in Texas.
Over the past seven years, Paragon has been involved in over $1 billion of multifamily development properties across 6,500 units and continues to expand its footprint.
Our Experience
Our co-founders William Cooper and Craig Cooper have deep expertise in all facets of commercial real estate including acquisitions, development, ownership, management, leasing, financing, equity, and dispositions with a primary focus on multifamily, retail and office product types. Together they have over 80 years of real estate experience.
Paragon’s Chief Investment Officer, Lynn Caldwell, brings over 35 years of real estate and finance experience, and our Chief Financial Officer, Ron Johansson, has over 40 years of real estate accounting and consulting expertise.
Our Legacy
Prior to forming Paragon Holdings, William Cooper was Founder and CEO of Paragon Group, one of the nation’s largest fully integrated, diversified real estate development and investment companies in the U.S. Paragon Group was responsible for the development of over 20 million square feet of office, industrial, and retail properties valued in excess of $3 billion. Paragon Group also held interests in 60 multifamily communities.
In addition to managing and developing for its own account, the company provided real estate asset management services for institutional real estate investors including GE Capital, JP Morgan, Travelers Insurance, Metropolitan Life, Citicorp, and Wells Fargo.
Paragon Group became a NYSE listed public company in 1994 and merged with Camden Property Trust in 1997.
